Our in-house team developed and finalised the masterplan for the site, the architectural design for the individual dwellings and the supporting planning statement. This joined-up approach resulted in a comprehensive planning application that was granted consent at first submission. This included a change of use for the site from commercial to residential.

C-architecture was introduced to the project to optimise the development potential of the site. Using BIM software, we were able to analyse the relationship between the neighbouring dwellings and the proposed houses, to ensure that privacy and comfort was retained and enjoyed by each home  The site offers architectural variety and interest, with contemporary eco dwellings at the centre of the site carefully juxtaposed with more traditional red-brick houses along the street, which have been designed to reflect the character of the local area.
